Julia Lezhneva is a renowned Russian soprano, celebrated for her extraordinary voice and virtuosic performances in baroque and classical repertoire. Born in 1989 on Sakhalin Island, she began her musical training at an early age, studying both piano and singing.
Julia Lezhneva's career skyrocketed after her sensational performance at the 2010 Classical Brit Awards. Over the next decade, she expanded her repertoire, making impressive debuts with prestigious orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker and at renowned venues like La Scala in Milan. She has collaborated with notable conductors, including Sir András Schiff and Herbert Blomstedt. Lezhneva is a regular guest at major international festivals and opera houses, excelling in roles from Handel, Mozart, and Rossini.
