Boris Petrushansky

Russian pianist Boris Petrushansky joins Only Stage management’s roster!

Boris Petrushansky, born in 1949 in Moscow, is a celebrated concert pianist known for his creativity and vibrant personality. Trained under Heinrich Neuhaus and Lev Naumov, he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1975.

He has performed with orchestras such as the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Moscow Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic, Berlin Staatskapelle, and the Orchestra of the Academy of Santa Cecilia. Petrushansky has collaborated with renowned conductors like Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Fedoseev, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Riccardo Abbado, and soloists such as Leonid Kogan, Igor Oistrakh, Misha Maisky, and the Borodin Quartet.

Since 1990, he has been a faculty member at the Accademia Pianistica "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, Italy.
