The Irish early music vocal ensemble Resurgam will provide the wonderful choral music in both operas. To celebrate OCI’s 10th birthday, this semi-staged production, will showcase the best of new Irish operatic vocal talent and welcome back singers from across 10 years of Opera Collective Ireland productions. It will be directed by Tony award-winning director Patrick Mason, conducted by baroque specialist Christian Curnyn, with a design concept by Catherine Fay. The production will take place in the extraordinary 250-year-old theatre at Schloss Rheinsberg, Brandenberg, Germany. Sung in English with German subtitles.
