November 9th – 10th | Memorial Concert with Eckehard Stier and the Junges Sinfonieorchester Dresden at Sächsisches Landesgymnasium für Musik
The Junges Sinfonieorchester Dresden, under the baton of Eckehard Stier, will present a commemorative concert at the Sächsisches Landesgymnasium für Musik. This concert, following the theme "From Darkness to Light," is dedicated to the pivotal historical events that took place on November 9 throughout German history. From the tragic occurrences of the Reichspogromnacht in 1938 and the failed Hitler-Ludendorff Putsch in 1923, to the hopeful moments of the proclamation of the Weimar Republic in 1918 and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, this event serves as a musical tribute to remembrance and reflection.
