November 20th – 24th | Maria Badstue conducts Randers Kammerorkester with recorder virtuoso Michala Petri

Our esteemed Danish conductor, Maria Badstue, will lead the Randers Chamber Orchestra alongside the renowned recorder virtuoso Michala Petri in a special series of performances across Randers, Risskov, and Hjørring. The program celebrates the centennial of the influential Danish composer Axel Borup-Jørgensen and will feature the world premiere of a new recorder concerto by Mogens Christensen, specially composed in honour of Borup-Jørgensen’s legacy. In addition to this highly anticipated premiere, the evening promises a selection of pieces that highlight the profound beauty and modernity of Borup-Jørgensen’s work, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in a journey through Danish musical heritage and nature-inspired sounds.
