February 14th – 15th | Marcus Bosch conducting “Mediterranean Fantasies by Richard Strauss” in Catania
The Orchestra of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania presents a symphonic concert under the baton of Marcus Bosch, featuring Richard Strauss's evocative masterpieces.
The program includes Strauss's Don Quixote, Op. 35, a set of fantastic variations on a knightly theme, and Aus Italien, Op. 16, a symphonic fantasy inspired by the landscapes of Italy. Joining the orchestra are soloists Bruno Boano on viola and Andrea Waccher on cello, whose artistry will bring Strauss's Mediterranean visions to life. The event is further enriched by visual illustrations by Gitrop and Salvo Russo.
