Conductor Lu Jia will lead the Orchestra del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari and the NCPA Choir at the Royal Opera House Muscat in a captivating program featuring selections from the enchanting oriental repertoire. A highlight of the evening is a rare performance of Violin Concerto No. 1 by the internationally renowned composer Zhao Jiping, known for his collaborations with acclaimed filmmaker Zhang Yimou. The concerto will be performed by the award-winning violinist Mengla Huang.

The program will also feature opera soloists, including the celebrated baritone Liao Changyong, the rising soprano Zhang Meigui and the distinguished bass Guan Zhijing.
