Under the musical direction of Lü Jia, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari presents a new production of La Wally, the powerful four-act opera by Alfredo Catalani with libretto by Luigi Illica. With its dramatic Alpine setting and emotionally charged score, the work comes to life in this staging by Massimo Gasparon, who also curates set design, costumes, and lighting.

The cast features a dual lead: sopranos Oksana Dyka and Rachele Stanisci alternate in the role of Wally, with tenors Marcelo Álvarez and Konstantin Kipiani as Hagenbach, and baritones Devid Cecconi and Enrico Di Geronimo as Gellner. The production also includes Andrea Tabili, David Cervera, Sonia Fortunato, and Elena Schirru in key supporting roles.
