Since September 27th, the Estonian National Opera is hosting Georges Bizet's timeless opera Carmen. This powerful production, featuring the charismatic baritone Gagik Vardanyan as Escamillo, brings to life one of the most passionate and dramatic stories in the operatic canon. Set in the sultry atmosphere of Seville, Carmen tells the story of a fiery, free-spirited woman whose relationships with the soldier Don José and the torero Escamillo spiral into jealousy, love, and tragedy.
