The project "Desideri - From Michelangelo to Fellini" is an incredible journey into the deepest urges of the human soul: desires. Art becomes music and performance with Silvia Nair, singer-songwriter and composer, and Luca Nannipieri, writer and art historian. Through images, songs, and words, the audience is led into the most unimaginable nuances of our fantasies, illuminated on this journey by the masterpieces of artists and directors.
The project will be scheduled for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons in major Italian cities. The initiative will focus on some of the most iconic art venues across Italy, offering an unparalleled cultural experience.

Silvia Nair is a renowned Italian artist with a law degree who transitioned into a successful music career, releasing her debut album "Sunrise" in 2005, which achieved chart success in Japan and featured the hit "Shine on now". She has collaborated with top Italian musicians and performed internationally with prominent symphony orchestras. Nair has also performed for various heads of state and at significant events, including Vatican ceremonies for two Popes. Her subsequent albums, "Ithaca" and "Luci e ombre", further showcased her musical versatility, with the latter involving international production teams and recorded in prestigious studios. Additionally, Nair has contributed to film and documentary music, including for Netflix and Rai, and received accolades like the "Montecarlo Prize" for her artistic impact.
Luca Nannipieri is a respected Italian art critic, historian, and writer. He is celebrated for his lectures at major Italian museums and for founding Casa Nannipieri Arte, which showcases contemporary art internationally. He hosts "EnigmArte" on Canale 5, explaining contemporary art in urban spaces, and serves as a spokesperson for Fondazione Arpa. Nannipieri has written extensively on art and culture for major publications and has appeared as an art critic on several Italian TV networks. His books discuss the interplay between art history and societal values, and he has been recognized for his contributions to art criticism, including receiving an award at the Venice Film Festival.
