Alfredo d’Agnese, born in Naples in 1959, holds a master’s degree in Performing Arts and has been a professional journalist since 1993. He contributes to prominent Italian magazines such as Repubblica delle Donne, Venerdì di Repubblica, and the online platform Repubblica.it, including the Robinson supplement. Additionally, he collaborates with the Treccani Encyclopedia of Music. His portfolio includes reportage, articles, and investigative pieces for publications like L’Espresso, Epoca, Musica! XL, and Kataweb. Alfredo has also written scripts for Radio Rai and major Italian record labels.
As a co-founder of the Master’s program in Journalism in Naples, he directs Run Radio, the university station at Suor Orsola Benincasa University, where he teaches “Communication and Musical Languages” and “Youth Discomfort and Cultural Products” within the Faculty of Education. Alfredo coordinates the Master’s program in Radio Broadcasting at the same institution and has previously taught “Communication Techniques” at the Giuseppe Martucci Conservatory in Salerno.
Between 1999 and 2001, he managed communications for events at the Festa regionale dell’Unità and the Neapolis Festival. In 2013, he served as the head of the press office for the Ravello Festival.
