Tenor Shanul Sharma joins Only Stage management’s roster!
Shanul Sharma, celebrated for his "dazzling fireworks" and "radiant high notes" in vocal performance, is the first Indian-born Australian to become a principal artist in Australian opera. Initially a lead vocalist in heavy-metal bands, Sharma transitioned to opera, training in Melbourne from 2013. He has since performed on international stages, making his operatic debut in 2014 with Opera Australia. Sharma's roles have included significant performances in Rossini's and Mozart's works, among others, earning acclaim in Europe, Australia, Russia, and the UK. Notably, he premiered as Papa Urbano VIII in the opera "Galileo" by Richard Mills in 2023 and has been recognized with prestigious awards for his vocal talent.
