Valerio Novara graduated in Piano Principal at “G.Donizetti” Music High School in 1982 and graduated in Economics at Bergamo University with full marks and honours in 1984.
He later completed his training relating to the management of cultural events, attending various courses specialization: in particular the master’s degree in “Entertainment Management” organized in Rome by LUISS and AGIS, and that of “Management of artistic and cultural activities” organized in Milan by the SDA (Business Management School) of Bocconi University.
In 1996 he came second in the public competition for the position of “Head of the accounting and budget service” of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
From 1997 to 2024 he collaborated with leading italian and foreign agencies, dealing with the promotion and organization of concerts, in particular the artistic management of classical musicians: instrumentalists, chamber ensembles, orchestral tours.
He boasts more than thirty years of experience in show business understood in the broadest and most complete sense of the term, which includes all the relevant specific areas of activity (from planning to distribution, from logistics to contracts, from marketing to accounting): first also as Director of Teatro di Tradizione (1991-1993) and later as organizer-programmer of shows for Festivals, as external relations manager for concert companies, etc.
